Jane draws on canvas. The largest graphite pencil and acrylic wash drawings are 4 by 6 feet (1.3 x 2 m). Realistic rendering converts the canvas into an imposing rock barrier. Sharp, fractured edges abut soft, eroded forms. These rockfaces have been variously interpreted as aerial views, mountain sides, canyons, or human landscapes.
